Avast Antivirus is asking for updates

Hi

It’s always nice to hear from a satisfied customer. Avast makes a fuss if it can’t find an internet connection. If you are connected to the internet and it still makes a fuss you should right click on the blue Avast icon on the bottom right hand corner of the screen and choose updating. As there are two options under updating, you may need to repeat the process for each one.

We are all very pleased by the way you speeded up our computer. I have one question. I used to have avg free virus protection and you have removed that and installed avast!. Every so often I get a warning that it might be out of date. Should I be doing something?
