Hi again

Sorry if I seemed flippant in that other email where I suggested a new notebook. It was done with good reason. Whatever mobile device you get we won’t be able to guarantee that you can see your attachments unless you’ve got a laptop with you. My mobile opens a variety of attachments but won’t read a word document with a feature as mundane as columns!

My mobile is the Ericcson 901i (at Staples for £399). You can see I’m reluctant to suggest spending money like that to discover that you can’t see the info you need to see. If you only need to see attachments which are written within well defined parameters eg like orders generated from your website we could test the 901i. If you really don’t want to go the whole hog (notebook) it might be most sensible to have a go with a MS smartphone (Nokia have one that’s been road tested for several months now). It is most likely to open any attachment without breaking the bank if it doesn’t work.

I hope that helps a little

Hi Sales

Thanks for coming round yesterday - all seems ok at the moment.

I need to be able to read emails (plus attatchments) as they come in, whilst driving the van accross East Anglia. I also need to be able to reply to these emails. I have 400+ mobile numbers in my mobile, spend 4 hours on the phone each day, use a bluetooth head set, and send 1000's of texts each month. What do I need?

Cheers,
