Network Server SupportLogon on to the Windows 2000 or 2003 server with administrative rights. (Typically as Administrator). Click Start Click Programs (All programs) Click Active Directory Users and Computers Wait for the MS Console to open Click the “Users” container (looks like a folder) for the domain you are managing. You may have to expand the domain branch to see the Users container. A list of users should appear in the window on the right Right-Click on the user you wish to manage Choose Reset password and enter the new password twice. Some servers may issue a warning about not being able to access resources before changing the password Click OK on the confirmation dialogue that appears. |
